A producer tag is your audio watermark, the voice or sound drop that identifies your beats. SoundPage adds it to the preview fans hear, while the file buyers download stays clean and untagged. Please keep in mind that this feature applies to Bulk Uploads only.

To get started, click Settings on the left navigation menu and then select the Beat Defaults tab at the top of the page, as shown here:

Setting it up

1. Navigate downpage slightly to Producer Tag
2. Upload a short tag audio file (a voice drop or sound ID). We have a default tag in place.
3. When you bulk upload beats, SoundPage automatically places your tag roughly every 25 seconds on the tagged preview.

Tips for best performance

• The tag is on the preview only, paying buyers receive the untagged file.
• Prefer to control placement yourself? Upload your own tagged preview and SoundPage will use that instead of auto-tagging.
• Keep your tag short and recognizable, a quick drop that doesn't bury the beat.
• A consistent tag builds recognition; fans start to associate the sound with you.
